The
2009 Skate World Party was a huge success with 300 skaters and over 400 people
in attendance! We like to think that it was our Skate World music video that
convinced students to attend the party! Even for those students who were not
able to attend the actual event, we had lots of fun making the video that was
used as a commercial for the party. The students became minor celebrities in the
school as the video was played multiple times on the morning announcements, and
the high attendance at the party confirmed our "marketing" success!
It was fun to see so many Planet 13 students at the exciting event!
Students were able to enjoy skating on the rink, games in the arcade, food at
the snack shop, and lots of good company including friends and Hill teachers.
