Palms for Parents 101
On
Wednesday, January 28th the students became the teachers in Room 10. Upon
request, many parents "enrolled" in a class taught by their children called
"Palms for Parents 101." We had done such exciting projects and
activities in our classroom
that we wanted to share our work with our parents and teach them some important
Palm skills and activities.
Student teachers prepared for the class by creating lessons for their favorite Palm applications and/or Palm projects. All lessons included an instructional component where students used the Elmo to model skills and Palm use. After instruction, parents were given an assignment on which they had to use the Palm application introduced by the student teacher.
