Since our theme for
the year is "Planet 13," each student had a picture taken in an
astronaut suit. The pictures were then cropped and made into
posters for the hallway.

Students wrote their name and drew
picture of things that represent their interests on white cardstock.
They then turned the picture over and drew lines on the back to make a
puzzle. After cutting the picture into puzzle pieces, students
worked together to solve each other's puzzles. This helped them
learn more about each other.

We even had a time for
a quick game of "Simon Says" as a little break between activities!
|
|
|
Students listened to the book "Have you Filled a Bucket Today" and made a list of ways we can fill each other's buckets in our classroom.
