Making King Cake

For dessert, we made traditional King Cake, an oval cake often made during the Mardi Gras celebration.  Follow the steps below to see how we made our King Cakes.

Cinnamon Rolls

Step 1: Roll individual cinnamon rolls together to form an oval on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Step 2: Bake in the oven at 350º for 10 minutes or until ready.

Step 3: Spread icing evenly on the cake.

Step 4: Take cake out of the oven and sprinkle purple, gold, and green sugar on the icing.
